Trilogy Question
Hey, I brought guild wars when it first came out but did not play much. Started again to work on HoM for the GW2 rewards. At the moment I only own prophecies but I will be getting the trilogy and EoTN sometime next month.
When you get the trilogy is it one key to active all three campaigns or 3 keys together? I might activate the 2 on my current account and give the extra prophecies account to a friend. Also as a side - which is recommended for working on HoM things - Dervish, Ritualist, or Assassin? Last edited by Ikarii; Mar 03, 2012 at 03:27 AM // 03:27.. |

One key that you add to your existing account by logging in and then going to accounts I believe (add key). Or if you didn't start your main toon yet, just create a whole new account with the trilogy and use your old one for extra storage. Add the EOTN code to trilogy account.
Rit, Sin and then derv or Sin, Rit, and then derv is the order I'd place for picking a toon to do hom stuff. Rit can SOS most of the game and do a fair amount of solo farming. Sins are op, but require a bit more work at times. Dervs are fun though. Gl. |

Thank you for the response! I was planning for my main to be from either the factions or nightfall campaign since rit and dervish appeal to me the most. I do have 2 characters on my current account, but I was thinking I would just use them to do z-missions and gather things to support my main later on. Think I should just make the trilogy on a fresh account and leave my prophecies one alone? The extra storage space could definitely by useful now that I think about it.
Also, which campaign should I start my main in? I played through the entire prophecies storyline on one character, although that was years ago. Not sure if that is still the best starting point in terms of working for HoM points. Last edited by Ikarii; Mar 03, 2012 at 06:45 AM // 06:45.. |

However, if you already have some non-tradeable stuff gathered already (title progression, armours, whatever), you might prefer to stick with the old account. Depends how much work would you have to sacrifice, though if none or just a little, two accounts are better than one. Quote:
Yet, if you don't really feel like reading the wikis too much while you don't feel confident about your in-game skill, however you want to perceive it, i suggest starting with Prophecies. You can always start a rit in Factions and then travel to Proph as quickly as it's possible, simply because Prophecies have the best learning curve, even if a bit long. |

I haven't done anything on my current account except beat the prophecies campaign on normal mode, so I just have that one title. I think I will make a separate account when I get the trilogy and EoTN. Plus, I think starting the storylines fresh will help me learn the game better. Thank you for the advice, drkn. You've given me a few things to consider.
